Hello world!
Once upon a time there was a site called “The olde cookery book”. It collected and sought to publish recipes of cooking and brewing from Roman times up until the 20th century.Eventually it grew to a bit unmanageable in size – partly due to the fact that the recipes were stored in a flat database or single single files, and eventually unmanaged it became. Later, it got so unmanaged that my source files got archived on a disc somewhere. Even later I hoped that the the site could be salvaged from the Way back machine or some such project – and some of it can. By no means much more than a fairly useless fraction. I tried to recover the source files from my discs but apparently they were stored on unreadable ones, and the original site has been unsubscribed long ago – my dozens of source files are gone, forever in worst case.
